Just a few places remain for Lincolnshire Freemasons to come forward to have a free PSA test that could save their lives. Testing takes place at the Provincial meetings on May 13th, when a simple blood test could reveal if you need further investigation for prostate problems.
Bruce Goodman is the organiser of the testing with charity CHAPS, and says: “There’s no better time for men over 40 years old to have their PSA levels checked. It’s a simple blood test, and results will be revealed in a couple of days, from which you’ll learn if you’re OK, need monitoring, or need to take action urgently.
“To put it bluntly, early diagnosis could save your life. There are Freemasons enjoying life today because they were checked – but too many of us know someone who wasn’t in that position. They’re the ones who are no longer with us, and what happened to them really should spur us into action.”
There’s no ned to attend either of our Provincial meetings to have a test. Book it using the details in the poster below (you’ll need the code lincoln) and turn up at the appointed time with the necessary information.
