About 80 Lincolnshire Freemasons will be amongst more than 1,000 who’ll be able to say ‘hello’ in person to round-Britain walker Chris Jones when he pitches up at next week’s Quarterly Communications meeting at Freemasons Hall.
Chris, whose walk features on no fewer than five pages of the latest edition of FMT, has been given permission to pitch his tent in Freemasons Hall and talk about the walk, the reasons for it, and what he hopes to achieve by accomplishing it.
Said Chris: “The article in Freemasonry Today came at the perfect time, just a few days before the QC meeting. I’m really looking forward to being able to meet so many Freemasons in person at the iconic venue on such a special day. Perhaps some of them will even by kind enough to make a donation to the cause…”
…and if you’re one of the Lincolnshire Freemasons who’ll be at the meeting we’d like total the opportunity to get a group photograph for the archive. We’ll do that at about 1pm – 1.15 wherever Chris has pitched his tent.
