Brethren from Industry Lodge 4662 in Scunthorpe have given £500 to Age UK (Lindsey), whose volunteers support many members who struggle with loneliness and isolation. The money will be used to help provide transport to enable them to get out and attend social events.
The money was presented by the Lodge’s Worshipful Master Richard Brady, Almoner Lawrence Railton, and Secretary Les Brewer (Secretary). Receiving the cheque is Donna Murphy (Director of Operations and Development) with staff members, from left, Elaine Sandon, Rachel Jolly (at back) and Julie Shaw.
