Chris Jones learned a great deal on his coastal marathon raising funds for the Freemasons’ charity the MCF – things like how to get free boots, why you should be cautious of offers of caravan accommodation, and that his digestive system doesn’t – really doesn’t – like clotted cream.
To find out about the downsides of caravans and clotted cream you’re invited to the Earl of Yarborough Lodge meeting on December 18th, when Chris will be presenting his talk ‘Walk the Edge’.
Provincial Communications Office Stuart Pearcey said: “Chris is a humorous and engaging speaker, and two years on the road have given him lots of material to work with. He’s delivered his talk up and down the country on several occasions, refining it every time. It’s certainly well worth listening to, and anyone attending is sure to enjoy it – though you’ll probably have to ask him about the caravans and clotted cream. They’re entirely unrelated, but both are reminders of how much we should value the comforts of home!”
