Nottinghamshire’s recently-formed Dragon Lodge is coming to Sleaford for a meeting in May – and all Lincolnshire’s Freemasons are invited to come along.
Members of the gaming and hobbyist Lodge, consecrated in January last year and numbered 10061, will be conducting a First Degree ceremony at the Sleaford Masonic Hall on the town’s Watergate on Saturday May 16th.
Lodge secretary Andrew Gibson said: “The meeting will start at 10:30am, and be followed by our now-customary buffet and gaming. We like to enjoy a non-Masonic lunch for the opportunity of inviting friends and family, to eat and play games with us.
“The unique camaraderie built up through our post meeting gatherings has led to increased support to those in distressed circumstances, friendships extending beyond our Masonic meetings and numerous social events, and a desire to want to spend time in each other’s company. Games will be provided, with beginners very welcome, and encouraged to get involved, should they so desire.”
