‘Windy’ Gale is installed in the chair by his long-time friend

The Installation ceremony at Spilsby’s Shakespeare Lodge is something special to behold – and ‘Windy’ Gale got to experience it when he was put into the chair by his friend of 40 years Chris Woods.

The switch of Worshipful Master came after Chris had spent an unprecedented three years in the chair – but at last he got his PM jewel (right)! Provincial Facebook guru Simon Noden was at the ceremony. He said: “Have you ever seen the Installation Ceremony at Shakespeare Lodge? It’s completely different from everything else.”
