‘Your efforts were appreciated’, says Festival’s Events Committee Chairman

Festival Events Committee Chairman Gideon Hall has written to Committee Members to thank them for their input into the events that have taken us to the fundraising total that’s to be revealed on September 13th. Gideon, pictured above, wrote: “I want to thank you all for the part you have played in helping the Festival Events Committee with the various events we have put on. You have each contributed to the success of these events in your own individual way. It was noticed and it was appreciated.

“The work you have put into the Festival has meant that the five years have flown by and we will, I’m sure, have a massive figure to show for all our efforts. This will be well applied by the MCF so your work will have many positive repercussions for many years to come.

“Hopefully you will have fond memories of the events we have put on or helped with, from Concerts at Castles to Masons&Motors and Ropsley Heath Light Railway. Many people, be they Masons, families or friends have all come away with smiles on their faces and new friendships.

“I look forward to seeing or working with you all in future. Once again, thank you for your help.”
