Light blue Freemasons from Yorkshire have invited Lincolnshire members to get on line to hear a talk from Dr Robert Lomas – the real man behind Robert Langdon, created by Dan Brown in The Da Vinci Code.
He’ll be presenting his online talk on Sunday August 23rd, so you can ‘attend’ from the comfort of your own home.
The talk’s been organised by the Light Blue Club of Yorkshire North and East Riding, which is called the Cornerstone Club.
The club’s James Wright said: “The Cornerstone Circle is pleased to welcome Dr Lomas for what promises to be a fascinating and thought-provoking evening. Whilst the event is designed with Light Blues in mind, Brethren of all ranks will find much to interest and inspire them, and we would be delighted if members of your Province were able to join us.
”Dr Lomas is one of the most respected Masonic authors and researchers of the modern era. A scientist by profession – he has a PhD in Electronic Engineering – he has dedicated decades to exploring the history, symbolism and origins of the Craft. Best known as co-author of The Hiram Key, an international bestseller translated into more than 20 languages, Dr Lomas has written numerous influential works, including The Book of Hiram, Turning the Hiram Key, Freemasonry and the Birth of Modern Science, The Secrets of Freemasonry, and Uriel’s Machine. His research has inspired generations of Freemasons and non-Masons alike to explore the deeper traditions and mysteries of Freemasonry.”
