Lincolnshire Rough Ashlars were out in force to hit the road to Louth for a meeting of Lindsey Lodge where we welcomed Mark Denford as the newest initiate into Lincolnshire Freemasonry, writes John Armstrong.
“There is nothing quite like seeing a new brother take his first regular steps, and the brethren of Lindsey Lodge made sure it was an incredibly special night for everyone involved. We were treated to some spectacular ritual work.
“The magic didn’t stop inside the temple. At the Festive Board, we experienced the famous ‘Lindsey Fire’, capping off a brilliant night of warmth and laughter.
“To make the milestone even better was given the Province’s newly-upgraded Initiates Pack. As this fantastic new resource makes its way across Lincolnshire this year, we were thrilled to see him receive his very own Visiting Passport, his golden ticket to getting out there, exploring the Province, and building connections with our Lodges.
“As a token of our appreciation for allowing us to share in such a great evening, our Vice Chairman Richard Skells had the honour of presenting Mark with his very own Lincolnshire Rough Ashlars tie. Wear it with pride, Mark!
“A massive thank you to Lindsey Lodge for being such fantastic hosts, and a very warm welcome to Bro. Denford. We can’t wait to see where your Masonic journey takes you next, and look forward to seeing you ‘on tour’ with us, soon!”
