Our members made Lincolnshire the best-represented Province at the December Quarterly Communications meeting at Freemasons Hall.
Almost 150 travelled by train, car, and minibus and packed the west balcony of the Grand Temple. And after the meeting a group from North Lincolnshire was able to grab a picture by Andy Urry with Pro Grand Master Jonathan Spence in the Hercules Pillars pub over the road.
PGM Dave Wheeler said: “What a day! To see the Grand Temple’s west balcony so full of Lincolnshire brethren was an amazing sight. It was a proud moment for me when everyone from our Province was invited to stand by the Pro Grand Master and were given spontaneous applause.
“I tried to speak to as many of our brethren as possible, but I know I will have missed some so I’d like to extend my personal thanks to all of those who made the effort to attend the meeting and the meal in the Grand Connaught Rooms afterwards.
“It was a special day for our Province and one that will remain with me for a very long time to come.”
Rough Ashlars Chairman Mike Coleman said: “As the dust settles on our epic visit to Quarterly communications at UGLE in London just want to thank all the Light Blue Brethren that attended to make it a record Lincolnshire contingent visit.
”A big thank you to all the Lincolnshire Rough Ashlars team that attended for helping make it happen and run smoothly. We have raised the bar, and I’m sure the challenge will be to bring more brethren in 2026.
“It certainly was a great day, I’d like those who were part of it to tell their fellow brethren who didn’t go to get the December 2026 QC in the diary!”
The pictures below, by John Armstrong, Andy Urry, Chris Jones, and Stuart Pearcey, documented the day. We’ve sent them all to the Communications team at UGLE, who want to consider writing about us for Freemasonry Today.
