After examining all the possibilities for Freemasonry in Grimsby Ben Grocott chose to join St Albans Lodge , and was initiated at a ceremony supported by a number of Rough Ashlars, mostly from Smyth Lodge.
Ben made his application on line through UGLE, after hearing about Freemasonry at an attending an open day/seminar. After chatting to Provincial Membership Officer Mike Clay and Centre Membership Officer Steve Dickson he read the Grimsby Lodge profiles on line, from which he selected St Albans.
The picture above shows Ben with both St. Albans Wardens – and below, Lodge Master W. Bro. P. Harvey, who decided to step up to greet “Big Ben”.
