Rugby-playing Ollie Arnold helped deliver a pass of a different kind for London Freemason Nick Dennis by bringing him to Skegness for his Second Degree ceremony.
Ollie is Senior Warden in both London Lodge Floreat and Skegness’s Lumley. His dad Richard is also a member of both Lodges, being Secretary and Membership Officer at Fkoreat, and Mentor at Lumley – and that must have made it feel like a ‘home fixture’ for Floreat member Nick.
Lumley D.C. Neil Huskisson said it had been a fantastic night. He said: “It was a privilege for Lumley Lodge to host the ceremony and support a fellow Mason as he continues his journey.
”It was one of those evenings where we had a few stand in offficers, but everything just seemed to come together perfectly.
“The visit highlighted the close ties between our Lodges. Huge congratulations to our Master Simon Hay for leading the ceremony.”
