Grand Superintendent springs surprise on John Hockin

John Hockin’s fifty years as a Royal Arch Freemason were marked by a surprise visit to Hope Chapter by Grand Superintendent Dave Wheeler to present John with his 50-year certificate.

The evening was fifty years to the day since John was exalted into the Chapter at Sleaford. In the picture are, from left, Second Provincial Grand Principal Steve Roberts, John (carefully placed to show off his halo), Dave Wheeler, Provincial DC Phil Anyan, and Provincial Scribe E Adrian Joyce.

John has held the office of PAGSoj from Supreme Grand Chapter since 2023, and PPGSN from the Province, which he has held since 2006.
