Lindum Lodge past master Ray Newell was awarded the MBE last year and has been presented with it by Princess Anne at a ceremony at Windsor Castle.
He won the award for service to in the midlands, and said: “”I’d like to thank those friends and colleagues that nominated and supported me for this great honour as a tribute to my 50 years in both industry and the public sector.”
