Members of Long Sutton’s three Lodges threw open their doors for an open day at the centre, when visitors included PGM Dave Wheeler who was delighted to be presented with a cheque for £300 towards the #Lincs2025 Festival.
He was given the money, raised at Long Sutton’s Burns Night, by Jamie Foulsham, Membership Officer of Saint Mary Lodge. Dave said: “The team at Long Sutton from St. Mary, Alexandra, and Fenland Daylight Lodges, had put a lot of hard work in to making the open day a success. From what I experienced it was a very positive, professional, and happy occasion which showcased the very best of Freemasonry. To receive the cheque from Jamie was a real bonus, and my thanks go to all those involved.”
The organisers said: “To everyone who took the time out of their busy days to visit us, we hope you had an enjoyable visit. To those that helped today happen, we couldn’t have done it without you! From the wives and girlfriends that spent countless hours baking cakes and cookies, and serving beverages, to the Brethren that were tour guides. It was a fantastic day!”
