In another first for Lincolnshire our Mark Master Masons are inviting everyone to help celebrate the 150th anniversary of the degree in the Province by attending a landmark banquet with entertainment from a world-renowned cabaret artist.
Steve Hallberg, PGM of Lincolnshire’s Mark Degree, said: “The celebratory dinner takes place at the Epic Centre on the Lincolnshire Showground on 9th November. It’s open to partners, non-masonic guests, and guests from other orders who may not be Mark Master Masons, who we hope they will take the opportunity to join us for this once-in-a-lifetime evening.”
The festive celebration will open with a violin reception including a complimentary glass of sparkling wine or juice, followed by a four-course banquet accompanied with light string music, after which world renowned entertainer Gary Williams’ Cabaret Show will perform.
Star of the West End’s Rat Pack, Grimsby-born Williams has performed worldwide, from New York’s Carnegie Hall to Buckingham Palace, Birdland in, Tokyo and The Royal Albert Hall.
Described as “The UK’s leading standard bearer for the supercool era” by the London Evening Standard, he wrote the performers’ bible ‘Cabaret Secrets’, has recorded at Abbey Road, Ronnie Scott’s, in Los Angeles, and presented for BBC Radio 2, and was profiled in the Sunday Times’ ‘Fame and Fortune’ section – amongst lots of others.
