Oscar Miller’s raising ceremony at Smyth Lodge was a landmark not only for him and his family, but also for our Grimsby Masonic Centre – because it was the first ‘live run’ of a new TV display in the bar area.
In a memorable ceremony Oscar was guided by his father Chris in the role of Deacon in a Lodge where his uncle Tony is Almoner.
The screen is said to be a superb asset to the centre, adding a professional touch for all Lodges and Chapters meeting at there – quite apart from Oscar being able to see his name in lights!
