Master Malcolm Kerridge handed the gavel to Neil Hollingsworth to install his son Richard into the Master’s chair at Market Rasen’s Bayons Lodge – marking a very special and emotional evening for the father and son pair.
The Lodge made a presentation to David Patterson, who was stepping down from the position of Treasurer after 25 years, handing the role to Neil Hollingsworth.
It was the last meeting for at least two years for David Edmonds, who is leaving to work in Jamaica, but wants to come back to Bayons for his third degree. In the meantime Lodge Mentor John Moon is hoping to put him in touch with a Lodge on the island.
The ceremony, attended by 36 brethren, was performed to a high standard, with everyone clearly having rehearsed well. The raffle raised £185, which will be added to the Lodge charity account.
