Online fundraising for events run in Lincolnshire has become significantly easier with the creation of the Province’s own dedicated Relief Chest.
It’s supported by our Charity the MCF, and ring-fences any money given for use in Lincolnshire.
Provincial Charity Steward Paul Ellis, pictured, says it offers the best of both worlds. “It lifts from our own members the burden of having to handle the administration, but keeps control of the funds in Lincolnshire, since members in our Province are the only ones who can decide where the money ultimately goes. It means we have complete control of how we raise and share money for charity.”

Lincolnshire Freemasons’ Charity Steward Paul Ellis: “Make your money make a difference,” he says in new round of £1,000 donations.
He said that with the 2025 Festival behind us we had the opportunity to direct our giving back into our local charity funds.
“Remember that this year we are increasing to £1,000 the amount we give to each Lodge to distribute in its own community. This can be split into two donations, if the Lodge wishes, in whatever proportion members see fit.”
“Please bear in mind that we need to make our money count by placing it where it can do as much good as possible for people in particular need. What’s more, it doesn’t have to be given to a registered charity, which means we can help organisations that migt otherwise struggle with raising the funds they need to continue their work.”
