St Guthlac Lodge members have started a new rehearsal night tradition by adding a stroll to the Deep in Kindness community aid hub for a hearty meal to end the night.
All the members were filled and happy with the outcome of this trial. Lisa Cuthbert volunteered on behalf of the charity to make an exquisite menu and the taste of it was even better, said the diners.
The Lodge’s Andy Bagworth said: “Massive thank you to Lisa and her team! We look forward to coming back more regularly for some great food.
“We all agreed it would be better for us to go to a local charity to support them when all money they earn is used to help families and people in need in the area by providing support and opportunities to them. It’s well worth the money for great food. Supporting charities is a core principle of freemasonry.”
