Christmas ‘Festivi-teas’ is a new way to get into the festive spirit being staged at the Lincoln Masonic Centre, when high teas and high notes come together in a special seasonal coffee morning.
Taking place between 10.30am and 1.30pm on Friday December 19th, everyone attending will be treated to high tea and to take part in Christmas singalong led by organist Maurice Ward and his wife Linda.
Organiser Mike Martin said: “We want to encourage more people to attend our coffee morning meetings, and with Maurice and Linda leading the singing we can all have a barnstorming good singalong. This will be a great opportunity to get the message out about our regular coffee mornings, and get able-bodied brethren to bring along less able Freemasons and widows who may not have attended before. Let’s try and get as many as possible to get a generate a real buzz.
“Everyone in our wider masonic family is welcome to this FREE event. Let’s make it extra special, and get as many people as possible along to enjoy the festive cheer.”
The event is open to all Freemasons, family members and friends, but booking is essential. “We have to know how much food we’re going to need to cater for everyone who wants to come,” said Mike. Booking details are in the poster below.
Regular FREE Lincoln coffee mornings take place at the Lincoln Masonic Centre on the third Friday of every month, 10.30-12.30. No need to book for those; just turn up to a safe space for the whole family of Freemasonry.
