North Lincolnshire Freemason Rob Elliott is transforming himself into a marathon man this month to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK.
Rob, a member of the Isle of Axholme and Industry Lodges, will be running the Marathon’s 26.2 miles distance in stages through January.
He said: “Prostate Cancer now affects 1 in 8 men in the UK. That’s thousands of dads, partners, brothers, grandads, uncles and mates.
“I’m raising money to help fund lifesaving research and support for men and their families affected by prostate cancer.
Personally knowing people who have had this and are living with it, I found this relevant to challenge myself and to raise money for a worthy cause!”
