The Lodge of Old Clee celebrated its fiftieth birthday with a double ceremony and a visit by Provincial Grand Master Dave Wheeler and his team.
It was a Second Degree for Joseph Patterson and David Payne, part of an evening marked by some special presentations at the festive board.
Lodge Master Roger Coo was clearly very pleased, in our picture above, to present Dave with a Grimsby Town scarf as a reminder that Lincoln City wasn’t the only team in the Province. Lifelong City fan Dave, on the other hand, didn’t seem quite so thrilled.
He was also given two bottles of wine branded ‘Mr Wheeler’ who was no relation.
Dave was on happier ground when he presented Roger with a commemorative medal to record the Lodge milestone – only the third of its kind he’s awarded.
